Apple Dinner: Ancestral Technology of connection and knowledge archive
Participatory food installation & performance,
part of Ūmėdė festival, 2025, SODAS 2123, Vilnius, Lithuania
in collaboration with Monika Razny

Apple Dinner was a participatory food installation consisting of dishes made with apples. The work referred to Slavic pre-Christian seasonal celebrations, such as the Apple Spas festival, as well as other autumn and harvest celebrations found in many cultures. These traditions often involved collective work to gather the harvest, sharing seasonal produce within the community, and rituals expressing gratitude towards the earth and non-human actors.
