Mateusz Pitala is an artist, designer and baker based in Trondheim, Norway. In 2020 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow with MA title. Through his practice Pitala explores bread history, its potential and forgotten grains. He works with bread dough and sourdough living bacteria, as well as sculpture, design, video, text and painting.
