Spring bread
Participatory event & performance, 2025, Bakke Kirke, Trondheim, Norway
in collaboration with Monika Razny

The installation consists of table, edible bread sculptures with wild edible plants, nettle soup, nettle butter, wild edible plants in pots and hanging. Installation is inspired by pre-spring food traditions. When flour became a scarce commodity, people used to add wild plants to bread dough to increase the volume of the loaf. The work explores how ancestral food practices functioned as a technology of connection, bringing people together across ages and backgrounds.
